VanMartin Contracting was designed with the intention of creating unique spaces to fit our client specific needs. The VanMartin team has been working on projects for over 5 years, they’ve combined their expertise to create an easy, stress-free and creative space for their clients.
Focusing on interior renovations, VanMartin will assist you in making sure your renovation is safe and efficient. Ensuring that the proper procedures are in place no matter how big or small your renovation may be.
OUR PROCESS
ESTIMATE & SITE VISIT
Every project starts by getting to know our client and visiting the job site to better understand their space and needs. This helps us provide you with an estimate and design of the purposed space. DESIGN & FLOOR PLAN
After we meet our designer will create a concept for the proposed renovation. A package will be put together including a 3D rendering, colour, fixture and hard surface concepts. Of course our designer will work with you to adjust the designs to perfection!
ESTIMATE & DESIGN PRESENTATION
We understand how much a renovation can mean to a client, no matter how big or small. The VanMartin team finds it most effective to re-visit the home and walk the client step by step through our scope of work, this way we can all be on the same page once the project commences. We want you to understand what to expect from the renovation. Also, this is a great opportunity to have an open conversation about any modifications that can be made.
DECISION TIME
VanMartin offers free estimates including one revision. Once we have presented made any tweaks to the proposal after our presentation, you have the opportunity to accept or decline. We are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the renovation and our work to finalize your renovation. Hopefully, we have the privilege of working with you.
CONTRACT & DEPOSIT
Upon accepting our proposal, we will send you a contract to commence work!
Our designer will set up a meeting to formally go over the details of the next steps, collect the signed contract and payment. A rough schedule will be sent to you through our managing application to secure your demolition start date!
PERMIT APPLICATIONS
In preparation for the start date of your renovation, our designer and contractor will work closely with an architect/engineer on your behalf to ensure any permits necessary are taken care of.
WALK THROUGH
The Contractor and Designer will revisit the site to go over the details of the renovation, at this time the Designer will go through the template of our specs and selection sheet. The designer will guide you through finalizing all your selections through out the project. Once they are selected the spec and selection sheet will be signed off on and a copy will be left on site for our trades and the contractor to view.
CONSTRUCTION PHASE
Once the final designs and selections have been made, the construction starts! Our designer will be your main point of contact during your renovation, they will keep you up to date with the progress and the schedule.
FINAL WALK THROUGH
After all proposed work is completed, the designer and contractor will schedule a final walk through with you at your home. This will provide us all the opportunity to go over and discuss the final details of the renovation.
Once the final walk through is complete, our designer will stage the space in preparation for photos of the finished project.
